The Tabuk Water Tower stands as a remarkable architectural achievement, distinguished by its innovative water storage bag shape—a testament to pioneering design and engineering. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the first structure of its kind, characterized by a unique round silhouette that gradually tapers in circumference. The façade, an intricate interplay of form and function, presented a formidable challenge, particularly in the integration of double-glazed glass panels. However, through meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, the project team successfully navigated these complexities, guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence. The Tabuk Water Tower serves a multifaceted purpose, blending utility with community engagement. Functionally, it fulfills its primary role as a water storage tank, spanning from the ground floor to the second floor, an expansive auditorium space provides a platform for raising awareness about water conservation—moreover, soaring above, from the 22nd floor to the 26th floor, lies an elegant sky restaurant—a testament to the tower's integration of public amenities with architectural grandeur. This lofty vantage point offers patrons a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding landscape. The implementation of a Thermally Broken unitized curtain wall, complemented by Fire-rated Mitsubishi ACP cladding and a Double-Glazed Spider Glass system, underscores a commitment to both aesthetic elegance and structural integrity. Notably, the inclusion of stainless-steel railing and a waterway-shaped ring on the uppermost floors exemplifies a dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.
Today, standing tall for over 13 years, the Tabuk Water Tower stands as a symbol of enduring resilience and architectural prowess. Its continued presence on the city skyline serves as a testament to the collective effort, expertise, and vision of all involved.
